The hybrid modification of the car BYD Han DM has got a hybrid version. It happened almost immediately after the release of the electric car. The front wheels are rotated by a gasoline engine with a displacement of 2.0 liters, and an electric motor is installed on the rear wheels. The total power of the power plant reaches 436 hp.

However, now a more advanced version of the hybrid goes on sale. It’s called DM-i. Here the basis is a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine capable of producing 139 hp However, it mainly plays the role of a generator for the electric motor, which is just responsible for the torque. And there are two electric motors here – in front, the recoil reaches 197 hp, and on the rear axle 218 hp.

In certain cases, the gasoline engine is also included in the transmission of torque to the front wheels.

One striking parameter that clearly distinguishes BYD Han DM-I from competitors is the power reserve exclusively on electricity.

It reaches 242 km. And in total, with a full tank and a fully charged battery, you can overcome 1,300 km of the path. Similar figures are demonstrated by the hybrid modification of the Geely KX11. You can also buy a version of Han DM-p. In it, the principle of operation is the same, but the power of electric motors is higher. It is 218 and 272 hp for the front and rear axles. True, the power reserve on electricity is slightly less – 202 km.

Slightly changed and the appearance of the car – the modernization touched the grille, bumpers and spectacular rear lights. But the interior of the car has not changed much – there and so everything was at a very high level. The head unit has a diagonal of 15.6 inches and the ability to rotate 90 degrees. The instrument panel is digital and has a screen diagonal of 12.3 inches. Of the innovations, we note the emergence of new finishing materials for seats, as well as intelligent cruise control. The cost of such a car is unknown, but most likely, it will be the most expensive version in the Han lineup.
